Its THC content level averages between 20% to 25% so it is rather potent, just like its parent, Wedding Cake, which itself averages highs of 25% in THC content as well. Its other parent, Gelato #33 (itself a cross between other dessert strains, Sunset Sherbert and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies), is a bit lower at 22% potency on average, though both parent strains, two indica dominant hybrids in themselves, can pack quite a punch, which would explain the heavy sedated experience users can get from Ice Cream Cake.
Appearance & Aroma
The nugs of Ice Cream Cake are densely packed, and are a beautiful shade of light and dark forest greens with fiery copper-orange and speckled purple pistils–the strain is as tasty as it looks. Some users report a sugary dough flavour, and can often be pungent like most marijuana strains, though more common flavour notes of the strain include a sweet combination of vanilla and nut, as well as a yummy cream cheese goodness.
